Made in partnership with Bria Lemirande. The bag is made from a deadstock cotton twill and the pockets are various deadstock fabrics.
Jensen and I often talk about what we call the “second handle” phenomenon. We came up with the phrase last year after noticing that so many of you have second Instagram handles for photography accounts, dinner clubs, businesses you’re building, things you’ve cooked etc. The term stands for one of the things we value most in Oddli’s world: the spirit of invention & creativity
Bria represents this to us. A little while ago she told us a story about how when she was in college, early in the morning she would make smoothies in her bathroom so she wouldn’t wake up her roommates and post them on her Instagram with careful lists of ingredients. She laughed to us about how she didn’t get many views on her smoothie stories but kept posting them because she loved the process so much. Bria is a wildly hard worker. She followed her heart, and with time translated her love of food into the most inclusive, kind platform for so many of us to learn from and look up to.
